The Lambrakis Foundation, as a member of the Network of Cooperation for Marine Environment, is organizing a voluntary cleanup of the Marikes beach in Rafina, Attica, on Friday, October 18, 2019. The action, which will includ recording collected litter, will be carried out in the context of the Global Volunteer 2019 (International Coastal Cleanup-ICC), an Ocean Conservancy initiative coordinated by HELMEPA since 1991 in Greece every September / October.

Students from the 17th Gymnasium of Peristeri, the 3rd Gymnasium of Aigaleo, the 2nd EPAL Iliou and the 1st Elementary School of Rafina, will participate in this voluntary action together with their teachers, Environmental Education Officers and Lambrakis Foundation staff. The Lambrakis Foundation will cover all the costs of the action including the transportation of the students.
